We designed exclusive and high-level platforms to build momentum among top-tier guests toward eliminating disease and incentivizing attendance. We also convened engaging, diverse, and involved speakers with high-level and specialized participants. We then identified key lessons learned after the forum’s conclusion for future improvements and success.
The Impact
With Globesight’s support, the governmental entity successfully convened 200 government officials, bilateral and multilateral aid leaders, global health experts, and industry leaders who shared insights and best practices on how to map out, eliminate, and eradicate infectious diseases.

Globesight developed a three-phased solution to unlock increased sustainable impact. We performed a 360-degree assessment analyzing past performance, strengths, and weaknesses. We then developed a strategy refinement, integrating key findings through benchmarking exercises to generate a long-term strategy from vision/mission to program design. Lastly, we created an implementation roadmap including program plans, identification of organizational capacity and culture needs, development of an effective messaging platform, and overall brand narrative.

We mapped the levels of giving across foreign aid and private giving in the Gulf region and outlined the challenges that the international NGO could face in expanding to the Gulf region. The Challenge
A leading US educational institution sought to better understand the scale, scope and practices of philanthropic initiatives and organizations in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Our Crafted Solution
Working closely with the US educational institution, Globesight undertook a deep analysis of social, political and economic influences on philanthropy, including initiatives to encourage giving and the role of the government. We mapped the sectors in Kuwait and the UAE, including but not limited to models of philanthropic foundations, operational strategies and philanthropic priorities and purposes. This research culminated in the publication of two in-depth reports, highlighting challenges and opportunities.

The two reports helped expand the limited knowledge and data available on the sector as a whole. Greater knowledge on the scope of philanthropy in the Gulf region unlocked the potential to help foundations increase their impact and facilitate more collaboration.

A global education foundation sought an expert brief and update on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically focused on SDG #4, namely quality education, highlighting implications for the global foundation’s strategy moving forward.

Globesight developed a precise framework to analyze the SDGs against the global foundation’s goals and identified engagement potentials. We developed a comprehensive framework to analyze the shift from Millennium Development Goals to SDGs and evaluated how SDG #4 was perceived within the international community against the foundation’s objectives. We shaped impact-focused implementation strategies and opportunities for SDG-related goals, including resource mobilization and funding modalities.

We outlined the current status of global water security and the critical gaps and needs. We also identified the overall progress according to issues and geographies, including high-impact solutions and challenges. We then developed recommendations on how the client can best engage in the sector.

The Challenge
A West African NGO sought support in developing a strategy that would integrate its numerous health area verticals for new grant-supported engagement across West Africa. The NGO sought actionable recommendations that strategically integrated its vertical advocacy activities in the region in order to impact health financing through resource mobilization, as well as health policy and awareness.

Globesight developed an integrated strategy to ensure successful engagement in West and Francophone Africa. We conducted country deep-dives, providing a comprehensive overview of Senegal, Burkina Faso, Niger and Guinea. We developed a bespoke integrated strategic framework and prioritization tool to support the rollout of the integrated grant. We provided key recommendations and a high-level implementation plan, including a resource plan and timeline.
The Impact
The client decided to move forward with new integrated engagement activities in Burkina Faso. The client was able to merge its diverse issue areas under an integrated approach and overarching theme, tailored to respective grant countries. Globesight also provided the client with a tailored, user-friendly prioritization tool which could be used to determine prioritized advocacy activities under the integrated grant going forward.
