Globesight conducted a landscaping and action-oriented assessment of key philanthropic prospects in the GCC. We conducted comprehensive research on two key foundations in Qatar and the UAE to develop in-depth and action-oriented profiles for the INGO. We also developed a thorough document of actionable details on the top eight organizations/philanthropic entities in Gulf countries, profiled with details of the organization’s programs and focus areas, key stakeholders, alignment areas, and a plan of action.

An international NGO sought support to design and facilitate a bi-annual regional leadership meeting focused on issues of key importance to the MENA region and progress on key elements of the NGO’s MENA strategy roadmap. 

 Our Crafted Solution

Globesight facilitated a tailored and impactful leadership meeting with unique framing and exercises for success. We conducted a needs assessment and designed the structure and agenda of the meeting, as well as the content for the sessions. We provided guidance to facilitate the 3-day leadership meeting, including exercises, and coordinated rapporteur activities. We also outlined key takeaways from the meeting and prepared a communique and final report on the meeting.

Designing a Business Plan for a Retail Academy launched by a Foundation Seeking to Uplift Local Youth in the GCC

The Challenge

The foundation sought to make an impact on Arab youth unemployment in the GCC by developing an academy to build capacity among youth and connect them to the retail sector. After scoping and surveying the market, the foundation needed an effective business plan to move the development of the academy forward and achieve high impact. 

Our Crafted Solution

Globesight developed a comprehensive assessment of the region to identify key areas for engagement. We analyzed key documentation and performed extensive interviews with relevant stakeholders to frame the model for the academy. We then developed an eight-dimensional operating model with cost and revenue projections over a five-year period that considers the regional context. We also identified key factors for successful implementation as well as recommendations along each dimension of the operating model (programs, locations, etc.).
